Idaho BHA sponsors youth to attend outdoor conservation camp

As a show of our commitment to hunter recruitment, retention and reactivation the Idaho Chapter recently sponsored Rileah Bartholomew to attend the Idaho Conservation Officer’s Association’s 9th annual Youth Conservation Camp in Cascade, ID. Rileah, an 11 year old from Chubbuck, Idaho was one of 45 children, ages 10-12 to attend the week long camp in Cascade, Idaho. While at camp Rileah was taught wildlife management, hunter ethics, firearm safety and the principles of conservation while gaining her certification in Hunter and Archery Education. The Idaho Chapter is one of several sportsman organizations to sponsor children that attend the annual camp. We look forward to Rileah’s representation of the ethical hunter and her willingness to carry the torch of our conservation legacy
