Idaho BHA is hosting the 2nd "Backcountry in the Backyard" event of the summer on Thursday, August 16th. This is a free event and non-members are welcome.
Idaho BHA members Ed & Lisa Rebman welcome BHA members and anyone interested in public lands to join them for an informal backyard barbecue on Thursday, August 16th in the Avimor Community starting at 6:30 pm. The hosts will provide pulled pork sandwiches, coleslaw and wild caught smoked Idaho rainbow trout. Feel free to bring a dish to pass. Coolers and ice will be provided for storage, but please BYOB.
For anyone interested in a pre-party Hike (#hiketohunt), we will be leading a 45 minute hike (2.25 miles) starting from the house at 5:30 pm. Post hike shower facilities are available at the community center for those interested.
BHA will have information available about upcoming opportunities for members to engage in our efforts to protect wild public lands, waters and wildlife.

Google maps should work, but the easiest directions are to drive straight past the community center and straight up the hill. Keep going up until you hit Silver Tree.
